LEMON A lemon a day keeps a cold away. For a bad cold, the juice of two lemon in a half-a-liter of boiled water, sweetened with honey, taken at bed time is very effective. LIME Lime is ideal in all type of fever and cold if taken well diluted. Vitamin C rich lime juice increase resistance, reduce toxicity and cuts down the course of the illness. A glass of diluted lime juice prepared in warm water with a teaspoon of honey is a ideal for cold & cough. For tonsillitis one should add 4 teaspoon of honey instead of one teaspoon but should not be be taken more then twice in a day. GINGER It should be cut into small pieces and boiled in a cup of water. It should then be strained and add sugar/honey. It should be drunk while its hot.
